Equip your Midsize DownEaster Salt and Sandspreader with a Flip-Up Chute! Empty your hopper quickly at the end of a storm by flipping the chute and spinner assembly out of the way. Remove the chute completely in seconds by simply taking out 2 pins!

Advantages of the Flip-Up Chute:

Flips, removes, and re-installs in seconds. Ideal for emptying the hopper fast.
Store the spreader flat, with the chute flipped up or removed.
You can tow a trailer with a spreader in the truck body.

How it works:

To flip-up the chute, take out one pin, rotate the chute upward, and secure it in the raised position. To remove the chute, take out 2 pins. To re-install, line up the octagonal shaft head with matching shaft collar, re-install the pins, and you're ready to go.

Has all the features of our regular chute:

Like our standard chute, the Flip-Up Chute has two adjustable internal baffles, and 3 adjustable external baffles. You have as much control over the spread pattern as ever!
